In its 49 years of existence, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is currently, the world’s largest moot court competition, with participants from over 500 law schools in more than 80 countries. The competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between States before the International Court of Justice. Representing both sides of the argument, each Jessup team is required to prepare oral and written pleadings. This season, the Jessup’s problem has been on the enforcement of human rights while implementing counter-terrorism actions. Patricia Uribe obtained the Best Oralist Award at the National Rounds (Mexico).
