GRA Partners offer conferences to Commercial Attachés from several European Embassies

 

 

On Thursday September 28th and Thursday October 5th, Partners from Goodrich, Riquelme y Asociados offered two conferences to Commercial Attachés from several European Embassies, as well as Directors of European Chambers of Commerce in Mexico.

The events took place at the offices of GRA and the subject to the conferences were “Access to the North American Market through the Mexico-European Union Free trade Agreement and NAFTA” by David H. Brill, and “Practical Aspects of Protection to Intellectual Property in Mexico”, by Arturo Reyes on September 28th and by Enrique Diaz on October 5th.

Ricardo Lan Arredondo, Partner at GRA, presided the events.

After the conferences, the assistants enjoyed a cocktail party at the offices of GRA.

Among the assistants to the event that took place on September 28th were Mr. Alejandro Gomez Strozzi (Vice-Minister of Foreign Investment and International Commercial Practices from the Mexican Ministry of the Economy), Michelangelo Margherita (Head of Economic Affairs from the Delegation of the European Commission in Mexico), Mariano Muela (Economic & Commercial Counselor from the Embassy of Spain in Mexico), Johannes Hausser (Director of the German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce), Walter Loiacono (Director of the Italian-Mexican Chamber of Commerce), Léa Grandvalet (from the French-Mexican Chamber of Commerce), Thomas Barry (from the UK Trade and Investment Office in Mexico) and Thibaut Delarocque (from the Economic Mission of the French Embassy in Mexico).

Attending the event that took place on October 5th were Mr. Alonso de Gortari Rabiela (General Director of International Economic Promotion from the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Ms. Celia Gomes (Director of Economic Promotion for Europe from the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Peter le Poole (Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Mexico), Nikolaj Fredsted (Chargé d’Affaires from the Embassy of Denmark in Mexico), Keld Larsen (Commercial Attaché from the Belgian Embassy), Heidi Virta (from the Finland Trade Center), Alberto Benavides (from the Swedish Trade Council in Mexico) and Jorge Hefferan (from Economic Department of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Mexico).
